What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a powerful, individualized therapeutic approach that uses hypnosis to access the subconscious mind, helping you remove obstacles and achieve better health and personal growth. During hypnotherapy you maintain full awareness and complete control, with your hypnotherapist Rochelle serving as your guide to help you achieve your specific goals.

You may be consulting Rochelle because you’d like to learn habit control, you may have a desire for greater social comfort, for more self esteem or for confidence you may now lack. Perhaps you would like to feel more relaxed in professional or personal situations.

Your hypnotherapist, Rochelle, acts as your skilled guide throughout the entire hypnotherapy process, but you actually do all the necessary work to achieve lasting change.

This rapid and individualized approach to changing behaviors and habits helps build enduring self-confidence and self-esteem. By taking an active role in your transformation during your hypnosis sessions with Rochelle, you will develop powerful internal resources that continue to support your growth long after your sessions have ended.

Most people go into and out of hypnotic states throughout the day. Hypnosis is primarily a deep, focused state, and it’s more common for this to happen easily to children, but adults still succumb to deep states of trance. If you’ve ever cried during a movie, even if you tried not to: that’s an example of hypnosis. If you’ve been so absorbed in a game, or task, that you didn’t hear someone actually shouting to get your attention: that’s hypnosis. If an hour has either passed like a minute, or conversely, a minute seemed like an hour: that’s hypnosis.

The process of beginning hypnotherapy is actually more like de-hypnosis. Throughout your life, you’ve unconsciously hypnotized yourself into creating often repetitive and unwanted self-limiting beliefs, fears, and behaviors. Hypnotherapy helps you break free from these limitations and negative beliefs by accessing your subconscious mind, allowing positive change to occur.

The hypnotic experience varies from person to person. Some individuals enter a light hypnotic state, while others experience a deeper trance. Most people fall somewhere in between and hypnosis is often described by Rochelle’s clients as a comfortable, relaxed feeling that is similar to how you may feel just before sleep. Regardless of depth, the relaxed state of hypnosis and self-hypnosis allows you to easily access your subconscious mind and remove obstacles that have been preventing your personal growth and wellbeing.

All of the techniques you will learn in hypnotherapy are enduring skills that Rochelle will develop as a program that is  exclusively for you. You will be able to use the techniques and new attitudes you choose to adopt for lifelong growth, mentally, physically and spiritually. Whether it is hypnosis for pain relief, deep relaxation and better sleep — whatever brings you to hypnosis will provide rapid relief because of the individualized approach that Rochelle will create for you.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is more like de-hypnosis  — you have already spent a lifetime hypnotizing yourself into creating self-limiting beliefs, fears, and behaviors, and hypnotherapy helps you to break free from your limitations.

Some people go very lightly into hypnosis, and some people go very deeply, and most people are somewhere in the middle. In this relaxed state of self-hypnosis, you can easily access your subconscious mind and remove your obstacles to health and personal growth.

Rochelle acts as your guide along the way, but you do all the necessary work to help achieve lasting change. Changing your behaviors and habits in this way helps to build lasting self-confidence and self-esteem.
